The Avenhade project
Avenhade is the project of a Belgian composer who explores a wide range of soundscapes. from cinematic rock to electronic, orchestral, ambient, and even heavier styles. He doesn’t follow a single genre, instead, he follows emotion, intensity and atmosphere. 8th Exit, his debut album, is a reflection of that mindset :
An album ultimately designed to exist even without lyrics, carried solely by instrumentation. A mix of hard rock, orchestral, electro, ambient textures, sometimes metal, sometimes industrial, sometimes more experimental. An album that ranges from intense dramatic surges and explosions to something more intimate or delicately abstract. All inspired by my own torments, by this sensation of going around in circles, of losing myself again and again in an endless loop symbolized by the "8." Yet, beyond this loop, an invisible exit begins to emerge... Not a door, but a passage, somewhere between chaos and silence. A release that finally invites us to "get out of the 8," to break this cycle once and for all. It is the eighth exit on a lonely road, a road that leads nowhere but to the deepest part of ourselves.
Each track is a chapter in a story written without words, yet more profound than any spoken language. 8th Exit is the sound of someone lost in an endless loop he couldn’t escape. It’s just a man trying to explain his feeling with music again and again, eight times, with orchestras, guitars, and sometimes a broken heart.
I once had another music project under another name: LaTruelleLMDS. But it wasn't finished enough: I didn't like the name, it sounded too weird. That's why I started from scratch with my project "Avenhade"
